It was a night full of surprises across all divisions with several teams pulling off unexpected results as they look to close the gap on those ahead. The action was electric, with multiple dishes lighting up the evening in what proved to be a spectacular night of league pool.
Next week brings a brief pause in the season, with only a few outstanding fixtures being played. Full league action resumes on 3rd July.

Premier League 🏆:
🎱 Bagster House (4th) vs Egham Con Club (6th): With just one win under their belt heading into the match, Egham Con Club knew they needed a result to keep their survival hopes alive - and they delivered with a vital 7–5 victory over Bagster House.
While Bagster House have impressed in the EPL Cup, their league form continues to falter, and they couldn’t find the momentum to edge this one. A slick reverse dish from Vernon Asra gave Bagster an early 2–1 lead, but it was Joe Sims who proved decisive - winning both of his frames to help seal the win and secure valuable bonus points for his side.
------------
🎱 Egham & Hythe C (5th) vs Staines Con Club A (3rd): Despite being without new signing Phil Marriott, Egham & Hythe C delivered a strong performance to secure a commanding 8–4 win over Staines Con.
While Staines struggled to find their rhythm, it was a standout night for Alan Whittekind, who impressed with a perfect three-from-three showing. The first half was tightly contested, with both sides locked at 3–3, but Egham & Hythe C turned up the heat in the second half - storming to a 5–1 finish to seal the points and close the gap on fourth-placed Bagster House who do a game in hand against Three Tuns A.
------------
🎱 WR Sports A (1st) vs Three Tuns A (2nd): In a clash brimming with rivalry and title implications, WR Sports A and Three Tuns faced off in what was billed as a must-win encounter for the WR Sports A. A win for Three Tuns A could have put one finger on the trophy. However, it was WR Sports A who rose to the occasion in spectacular fashion, delivering a commanding 8–4 victory.
The night was lit up by three dishes, including a break and reverse dish from the ever-reliable Tom Howick ❤️, and a reverse dish from Paul Morrison, showcasing the team’s clinical edge under pressure.
It was a night to forget for James “Jungle” McCarthy, who suffered a rare dip in form, losing both of his frames - bringing his total frame losses this season to three, all at the hands of WR Sports A. A tough blow in an otherwise standout campaign.
Tonight’s result also moves Tom Howick up to 1st in the Leading Player stats.

Division 1 🏆🏆:
🎱 Egham & Hythe A (1st) vs Egham & Hythe E (6th): Egham & Hythe A favourites for promotion back to the Premier League, were given a real scare by bottom-of-the-table rivals Egham & Hythe E. Despite their contrasting positions, it was the underdogs who stormed into a 4–2 lead after the opening six frames.
But the league leaders showed their resilience, battling back to take four of the final six frames and edge ahead 6–5. Just when it looked like they’d snatched victory, Conor Doran stepped up for Egham & Hythe E and delivered a clutch final-frame win to secure a well-earned 6–6 draw.
The result leaves Egham & Hythe E still 19 points adrift of safety, with relegation to Division 2 looking increasingly likely.
------------
🎱 London Stone (5th) vs White Lion (3rd): London Stone staged a spirited second-half comeback to secure a hard-fought 6–6 draw with White Lion, sparked by a brilliant break dish from Ethan Coates in frame 6.
White Lion looked in control with a 4–2 lead at the halfway mark but couldn’t maintain their momentum. Only George Porter and Andy Rafferty managed to notch wins in the second half, as London Stone clawed their way back into the contest. London Stone with 2 games in hand could see them move up the table from the relegation zone they currently sit in.
------------
🎱 Sunbury Con Club (2nd) vs Egham & Hythe F (4th): Another thrilling draw in Division 1 saw Sunbury Con Club mount a spirited comeback to earn a 6–6 result against a resilient Egham & Hythe F side.
Young talent Freddy made his return fresh from GCSE exams (good luck, Freddy!) and delivered a solid performance with two wins and one loss. With the momentum swinging in Sunbury’s favour and a 6–5 lead heading into the final frame, it was Dan East who held his nerve and clinched the last frame of the night, sealing the draw.
Ashley Steer with two wins from three tonight was enough for him to move up to first in the Leading Player.
